GM Vehicle Engineering Center - Balustrades

Scope: Soheil Mosun Limited was contracted to complete the design, engineering, fabrication and installation of the balustrades, column covers, monumental stair cases, reception desk, balcony guardrails, glass bridge and other architectural elements.
Highlights: Field dimensions yielded slab alignment variances in excess of 4" off plumb. Our designers and site forces overcame this problem by introducing structural shims that resulted in a "gun barrel" straight installation. Over 200 fritted glass panels and 1300 linear square feet of balustrades.
